If you are even THINKING about purchasing a home in Manhattan, Barb Meitler is the first phone call you'll want to make. She is more than a real estate agent, she is a real estate expert. As a 50 year old single mom, purchasing a home alone for the first time was intimidating for me, but she walked me through every step of the way and was on top of every detail. My sons and I can not say enough about her and what she's done for us. So I'm writing it down for the benefit of the Manhattan community! Her expertise covered everything from how to word my offer and negotiate (the sellers accepted my offer despite it not being the first one they received), to providing me contact information and direction on activating my utilities on closing day and EVERYTHING in between.
